The Project
Plans and leads the delivery of bids and proposals, following the Mace bid process, to high quality and accurate tender responses in line with the company's brand, position and processes. Translates win strategies and business objectives into smart, compelling, consistent, customer-focused, error-free documents and presentations, project managing activity through department bid plans and escalating risk to bid leader/board where required. Bid manager leads and contributes to improvement activities and projects that improve Mace's ability to win work as directed by their line manager.
You'll Be Responsible For
- Leads bid strategy, aligning with client drivers, technical and commercial objectives, governance, and market insights.
- Facilitates collaborative workshops to develop compelling, client-focused propositions.
- Manages the bid programme, defining deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and ownership.
- Analyses tender documentation and coordinates clarifications to ensure compliance and quality.
- Oversees content development, ensuring consistent, high-quality submissions aligned with brand standards.
- Drives continuous improvement, sharing best practice and contributing to enhanced work winning capability.
You'll Need To Have
- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.
- Strong organisational and project management capability.
- Excellent written English and ability to develop compelling, accurate bid content.
- Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
