We are looking for a
Business Intelligence Specialist to support and grow our
Fabric & Data Analytics pillar. This is a
hands‑on individual contributor role responsible for both
backend data engineering and
front‑end Power BI analytics, while also helping to establish a
scalable and governed analytics platform for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Microsoft Fabric solutions (Lakehouse / Warehouse / Dataflows Gen2 / Pipelines).
- Develop and optimise SQL-based data transformations to deliver analytics‑ready datasets.
- Build and manage Power BI semantic models and dashboards, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for Fabric and Power BI using Git and Azure DevOps.
- Manage Fabric deployment pipelines across Dev / UAT / Prod environments.
- Define and maintain workspace governance, access controls, and data standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into trusted analytics and reports.
- Document architecture, data logic, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, or data engineering roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills for data transformation and modelling.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and workspace management.
- Able to work independently and take ownership as a sole contributor.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Fabric Git integration and deployment pipelines.
- Microsoft Fabric or Power BI certifications.
- Exposure to enterprise data governance practices.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
