GECO Asia is Hiring: BI / API Support Engineer

What You'll DoIn this role, you will help maintain and support business intelligence (BI) and API applications across global teams:
- Monitor and support BI and API applications to ensure smooth operations
- Investigate and resolve system issues, data discrepancies, and incidents
- Work with SQL to trace and analyze data across systems
- Communicate updates and resolution clearly to users (email, calls, ticketing tools)
- Participate in handling high-priority or critical incidents
- Help improve processes and reduce recurring issues
- Create basic documentation and share knowledge with team members
- Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives
What You Bring- At least 3+ years of experience in application support, data/BI, or backend systems
- Strong working knowledge of:
- SQL
- Data analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting or working with:
- BI tools (Qlik, Power BI, or similar)
- APIs or data integration tools
- Comfortable using ticketing systems and handling incidents
- Good communication skills (written and spoken English)
Nice-to-Have - Exposure to tools such as:
- SAP BO, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory
- Apigee or API management platforms
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Familiarity with ETL, SSIS, SSAS, or similar tools
- ITIL knowledge or certification
