Job Description

Job Summary:

The Benefits Administrator Specialist is responsible in managing end-to-end administration, optimization, and delivery of employee benefits and wellness programs to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and high employee satisfaction. This role also leads vendor partnerships, contract management, and data-driven improvements to enhance employee experience and support organizational goals on retention and cost control.

Job Description:

• Manages end-to-end administration of employee benefits programs, including HMO, life insurance, and company-sponsored benefits.

• Coordinates enrollment, updates, and terminations of benefits in alignment with HRIS and external vendors.

• Acts as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, claims, and escalations, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

• Ensures compliance with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

• Leads vendor sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding for benefits, insurance, and wellness providers.

• Manages vendor relationships, service delivery, and performance against defined SLAs and contractual obligations.

• Reviews, administers, and maintains vendor contracts, including terms, pricing, compliance, renewals, and amendments.

• Leads contract negotiations and renewal discussions to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.

• Conducts cost-benefit analysis, benchmarking, and financial reviews to optimize benefits programs and vendor spend.

• Partners with Finance and leadership on budget planning, forecasting, and cost projections related to benefits.

• Oversees end-to-end benefits ticketing operations, including tracking, prioritization, and resolution of HMO concerns, reimbursements, claims, and eligibility issues.

• Establishes and monitors SLAs, turnaround times, and resolution quality standards.

• Identifies recurring issues and drives process improvements and preventive actions.

• Processes, validates, and reconciles vendor invoices, billing statements, and payments related to benefits and wellness programs.

• Ensures billing accuracy by validating charges against contracts, utilization data, and agreed service terms.

• Coordinates with Finance to ensure timely payment processing and proper cost allocation.

• Manages site clinic operations, including vendor coordination, compliance with health and safety standards, and monitoring of service quality and utilization.

• Partners with healthcare providers to ensure effective delivery of onsite clinical services.

• Designs and implements employee wellness programs, including physical, mental, and financial wellbeing initiatives.

• Leads employee engagement programs (e.g., wellness initiatives, support programs) to improve employee experience and retention.

• Manages independent contractor (IC) benefits coordination, including eligibility tracking, billing, invoicing, and payment processing.

• Maintains accurate records and reporting for cost tracking, audit readiness, and compliance.

• Develops and manages employee perks and external partnership programs to enhance employee value proposition.

• Identifies and onboards new vendors and monitors utilization and ROI of programs.

• Generates reports on benefits utilization, cost vs. budget, and employee feedback.

• Provides data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership on benefits optimization, cost management, and program improvements.

• Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance benefits processes, vendor performance, and employee experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience in HMO and insurance benefits administration within a Philippine setting.

• Experience in vendor management and benefits program administration.

• Demonstrates knowledge of Philippine labor laws and benefits compliance.

• Demonstrates strong stakeholder management skills with vendors, employees, and leadership.

• Demonstrates strong analytical and financial skills, including cost analysis, budgeting, and ROI evaluation.

• Demonstrates problem-solving and escalation management skills.

• Demonstrates high attention to detail and process discipline.

• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Work Set up: Full-onsite

• Work Location: Angeles, Pampanga

• Work Schedule: Day Shift (Tuesday - Saturday)
