Job Summary
The Beauty Advisor is the frontline representative of our brand, directly impacting revenue, customer loyalty, and market perception. This role combines expert beauty knowledge with proven sales acumen to deliver an exceptional, personalized customer experience. The position is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets, deepening customer relationships, and maintaining brand integrity at every touchpoint. Success in this role supports company growth objectives, operational excellence, and market leadership in the beauty category.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Drive individual and store sales through targeted upselling, cross-selling, and client follow-up strategies.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and productivity of KPIs as set by management.
Customer Experience & Brand Advocacy
- Provide personalized beauty consultations, product demonstrations, and expert advice tailored to client needs.
- Deliver service experiences aligned with brand tone, values, and customer promise.
- Foster brand loyalty by maintaining client profiles and conducting proactive outreach for new launches and events.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure product displays meet visual merchandising standards, and stock levels are maintained in compliance with company guidelines.
- Follow all operational policies including cash handling, POS transactions, and loss prevention protocols.
Product & Market Expertise
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of product portfolio, brand heritage, and competitive landscape.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and adapting selling strategies based on seasonal campaigns and market trends.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with industry regulations and company policy.
- Uphold all legal, ethical, and employment law requirements relevant to retail operations.
Qualification And Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Certification in cosmetology, makeup artistry, or skincare (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
- 1–2 years experience in beauty retail, sales, or customer service roles preferably in Watsons Stores
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales and service targets.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong product demonstration and consultation capabilities in skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance.
- Proficiency with POS systems, CRM tools, and basic inventory management processes.
