Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
- Prepare supporting files to aid in review of administrator prepared monthly trial balances, reconciliation and supporting work-paper packages.
- Work directly with Operations team to review cash and position reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly expenses journal entries and reimbursement using internal portfolio system, VPM.
- Prepare monthly borrowings file.
- Work with public accounting firms on interim / annual audits.
- Review / Prepare all contributions for shareholders for BDC and Private Funds.
- Preparation of financial models to forecast revenues.
- Assist with maintaining internal controls and documentation in accordance with SOX 404.
Reporting:
- Preparation of quarterly 10Q and 10K financial statements using DFIN.
- Preparation of quarterly capital account statements and annual financial statements for Private Funds.
- Prepare quarterly investor reporting templates.
Job Requirements and Credentials:
- Degree in Accounting and CPA/ACA/CA or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and compensation reconciliations
- High proficiency in Workday, ADP (payroll software) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
