The Role
As Batch Operations Schedulerat Kyndryl, you'll responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring batch processing activities that support critical business operations. In this role, you ensure batch workloads run accurately, on time, and in compliance with established standards to maintain system stability and operational continuity.
You work hands‑on with scheduling tools such as Control‑M to build and manage job flows, dependencies, and calendars, while proactively identifying and resolving execution issues. Through close collaboration with application teams and service stakeholders, you help minimize disruptions and ensure reliable delivery within a global, enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and execute batch processes to support critical operational activities.
Build, maintain, and optimize job flows, calendars, dependencies, and conditions using Control‑M.
Proactively monitor batch executions, identify anomalies, and perform restarts or runs following established runbooks and procedures.
Respond to batch‑related incidents by analyzing root causes, coordinating recovery actions, and escalating issues when required.
Enforce scheduling standards, change control processes, and audit readiness requirements.

Required Skills and Experience
2+ years of hands‑on experience with batch scheduling tools such as Control‑M, CA7, or Autosys.
Practical experience building and managing batch schedules, dependencies, and calendars.
Hands‑on experience monitoring batch jobs, handling incidents, and executing runbook‑driven recoveries.
Scripting or automation experience using technologies such as JCL, Unix shell, PowerShell, or basic SQL.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in operational environments.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation, incident reporting, and collaboration with global teams.
Experience independently owning batch schedules and participating in routine on‑call support.
Experience working in environments with strict compliance, audit, or change control requirements.
