Company Description Hatch + Hoolman Studio is a neighborhood café that also serves as a creative third space for the local community. The studio explores the boundaries between hospitality, art, and collaboration, offering a welcoming environment where people can gather, share ideas, and connect.

Role Description The Barista is a full-time, on-site role based at Hatch + Hoolman Studio in Taguig. This role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, handling basic food preparation, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Barista will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and provide attentive customer service that reflects the studio's community-focused atmosphere. Day-to-day tasks include operating café equipment, restocking supplies, coordinating with team members during busy periods, and supporting the cafés collaborative events and activities. The Barista is expected to uphold quality standards, follow health and safety guidelines, and contribute to a warm, inclusive environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests, build rapport, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, coffee-making techniques, and familiarity with café equipment.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, collaborating with team members, and supporting community events.
• Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills, including safe handling, basic kitchen tasks, and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Additional qualifications include reliability, attention to detail, ability to stand for extended periods, and willingness to work weekends or holidays as needed.
• Previous café or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
