Position Summary
The Bancassurance Development Associate will support the growth and expansion of the bancassurance channel by assisting in partner bank engagement, branch activation, sales support, training coordination, and performance monitoring. The Bancassurance Development Associate ensures strong execution of insurance programs at the branch level and contributes to achieving overall bancassurance sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Activation & Support
- Activity | Deliverable 1: Assist in the rollout of insurance programs in partner bank branches.
- Activity | Deliverable 2: Coordinate with branch managers and relationship officers regarding insurance initiatives
- Activity | Deliverable 3: Support the activation of new branches for insurance selling.
Relationship Management
- Activity | Deliverable 1: Build and maintain strong working relationships with partner bank personnel.
- Activity | Deliverable 2: Handle basic client inquiries, provide quote and accomplish application processing.
- Activity | Deliverable 3: Support campaigns, promos, and special sales events at the branch level.
Sales Support & Execution
- Activity | Deliverable 1: Assist bank staff in generating insurance leads and cross-sell opportunities
- Activity | Deliverable 2: Handle basic client inquiries, provide quote and accomplish application processing .
- Activity | Deliverable 3: Support campaigns, promos, and special sales events at the branch level .
Training & Enablement
- Activity | Deliverable 1: Help organize and coordinate product training for bank employees.
- Activity | Deliverable 2: Support onboarding of new bank staff regarding insurance products.
- Activity | Deliverable 3: Monitor training attendance and completion
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Activity | Deliverable 1: Track branch performance, leads, and sales results.
- Activity | Deliverable 2: Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.
- Activity | Deliverable 3: Monitor branch-level KPIs and identify support opportunities
Administrative & Coordination Duties
- Activity | Deliverable 1: Assist in documentation, onboarding forms, and accreditation requirements.
- Activity | Deliverable 2: Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and finance for policy processing.
- Activity | Deliverable 3: Maintain updated partner-branch records and trackers
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in sales support, relationship management, or insurance/banking is an advantage
- Strong coordination, communication, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working with bank branch staff
- Organized, detail-oriented, and highly proactive
- Willing to travel to assigned bank branches
- Basic Knowledge in PowerPoint, Canva, and Excel
