Role Description

The BAKER/ROLLER/CASHIER role at Viva Foods is a full-time on-site position based in Robinsons Place Manila. This role involves preparing and baking products such as bread and cookies, following standardized recipes and food safety guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include mixing and shaping dough, operating baking equipment, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a clean workstation. The role also requires handling cashier responsibilities, such as operating the POS system, processing payments, issuing receipts, and providing courteous customer service. The team member will assist with food preparation, stocking displays, and coordinating with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge and practical skills in bakery operations and Baking.
• Ability to perform Food Preparation tasks, including portioning, assembling, and presenting items in line with store standards.
• Experience preparing baked goods such as Cookies and Bread with attention to consistency and quality.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Customer service skills for cashier duties, including accurate cash handling, POS operation, and clear communication.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced setting, and follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Previous experience in baking, food service, or retail is an advantage but not strictly required.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
