About the role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative Background Artist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually engaging environments, settings, and animated backgrounds that support and enhance our projects.

Key responsibilities

Create high-quality backgrounds, environments, and settings for animation and other creative projects
Develop animated backgrounds and environmental elements when required
Translate concepts and creative direction into visually appealing artwork
Maintain consistency in style, perspective, color, lighting, and overall visual quality
Work closely with artists, animators, and other members of the creative team
Revise artwork based on feedback and project requirements

Qualifications

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team
A degree in Arts, Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, or a related field is an advantage
Background or experience in animation, illustration, or visual arts is a plus
Strong understanding of composition, perspective, color, lighting, and visual storytelling
Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a collaborative environment
Must be residing in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, or willing to work on-site

Equipment requirements for APPLICANTS RESIDING OUTSIDE Puerto Princesa City, Palawan:

Applicants are required to have access to the following equipment during the online interview, as these will be used to assess their technical skills and determine their qualification for the position:

Specialized drawing hardware
Camera/webcam
Laptop or computer suitable for the role

These requirements are only necessary for the online interview and assessment process. Once hired, the required equipment will be provided by the company and will be available for use in the office.

Salary: Php 25,000.00 to Php 40,000.00
