Job Description

The Backend Management, Maintenance, and Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, integrity, and availability of the backend systems and databases supporting Tollways applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop application features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Execute, manage database operations, tuning, and maintenance.
  • Execute batch jobs, data processing, and integrations
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across systems
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries, stored procedures, and backend services
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and data schema, data mapping.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related field
  • Experience: 2-4 years in Software Development, Backend Support, and Database Administration
  • Specialized knowledge: Database management systems, Query optimization, indexing and performance tuning, Backup and recovery strategies, API and Backend service operations, System monitoring tools, Data Security(Encryption, Access control, and Audit logs)
  • Skills: Coding, debugging and troubleshooting, Scripting and database performance tuning, Incident handling and root cause analysis, attention to detail and data accuracy, Communication and coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Abilities: Ability to work under pressure in critical, real-time environments, Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve system issues, Ability to manage multiple incidents with minimal supervision, Ability to adapt to changing system environments and technologies
  • Professional Certification (Licenses needed): ITIL Foundation, Database Certification(Advantage)
