Backend Maintenance Engineer (CCTV & IT Infrastructure)

Responsibilities

. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) for IT and security system infrastructure.

. Support the operation and maintenance of CCTV and video management systems, including surveillance servers, network devices, and security appliances.

. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to servers, workstations, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.

. Monitor system health, investigate faults, and implement corrective actions to maintain system availability.

. Participate in standby duty and after-office-hours support according to a weekly roster.

. Work independently during fault investigations and recovery activities while collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.

. Support system upgrades, patch management, cybersecurity compliance activities, and maintenance exercises.

. Maintain proper documentation, maintenance records, and technical reports.

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure maintenance, system administration, network support, or security operations.

. Experience in CCTV, surveillance systems, or physical security systems will be an added advantage.

. Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CCNA, Security+, CEH, or equivalent are advantageous.
