Job Description

Apply your production backend expertise to REST APIs, advanced SQL optimization, event-driven architecture, Azure messaging, and integration workflows connecting complex applications. As a Backend Integration Developer, you'll troubleshoot interconnected services, strengthen asynchronous data exchange, and engineer for performance, scalability, and reliability. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of backend development experience, with strong hands-on PHP development in production environments
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs, backend services, and system integrations
• Strong experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and integration workflows
• Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Azure messaging services, preferably Azure Service Bus
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, query optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Strong understanding of application-to-application integrations, data exchange, error handling, retries, logging, and monitoring
• Proven ability to troubleshoot interconnected systems and data flows and perform effective root cause analysis
• Strong knowledge of backend performance, scalability, availability, and maintainability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across technical teams
• Available to work onsite in Mandaluyong

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications, APIs, interfaces, integrations, workflows, and reliable data exchange solutions
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions
• Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting while applying development best practices
• Ensure performance, scalability, availability, stability, and maintainability across solutions
