Ascendion is seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems, designing RESTful APIs, and implementing microservices architecture on AWS.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js.
- Build and optimize REST APIs for high-performance applications.
- Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in REST API design and development.
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
