We are looking for a Back-End Developer / DevOps Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable backend systems and cloud infrastructure. This role combines strong backend development skills with DevOps best practices to ensure performance, security, and reliability of our applications.
You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality systems that support business-critical applications.
Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance and reliability issues
DevOps & Infrastructure
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and logs
- Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery plans
- Optimize deployment processes and system scalability
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related course
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP (Laravel) and/or Node.js
- Understanding of backend fundamentals such as:
- RESTful APIs
- MVC architecture
- Basic authentication and authorization concepts
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Willingness to learn backend best practices, debugging, and code optimization
- Ability to understand requirements and translate them into working features
