Key Technical Competencies

• Compute & Storage: Mastery over Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Azure Functions, and storage accounts (Blob, Table, File).
• Networking: Expertise in Virtual Networks (VNets), Azure Load Balancers, Application Gateways, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute.
• Security & Identity: Proficiency in Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Key Vault, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Database & Analytics: Designing architecture for Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, and Cosmos DB.
• Governance & Automation: Implementing Azure Landing Zones, Azure Policy, ARM templates, and Terraform.

Typical Job Responsibilities

• Enterprise Cloud Strategy: Migrating on-premises data centers to the cloud and designing hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• High Availability & DR: Architecting disaster recovery (DR) solutions utilizing Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup.
• Cost Optimization: Conducting architectural reviews to optimize cloud spend via the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Team Leadership: Leading design reviews, mentoring cloud engineers, and providing technical leadership to developers.
