Work Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT

We are hiring a hands-on Platform Engineering & DevOps Lead to drive the design, build, and scaling of our next-generation internal systems.

Over the next 12 months, we are transitioning away from third-party platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and building our own ecosystem of applications on Microsoft Azure, powered by Microsoft Fabric (data platform) and modern AI capabilities.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Orchestrating this transformation
  • Leading a growing engineering team
  • Ensuring systems are scalable, integrated, and high-performing

This is a high-impact, build-heavy role where you will help shape and deliver multiple internal platforms from the ground up.

What You'll Do

You'll be the kind of person who:

1. Platform Architecture & Systems Development

  • Lead the development of internal business applications (CRM, ATS, LMS, HRMS, ticketing systems, etc.)
  • Build and manage systems deployed on Microsoft Azure: Design scalable architectures integrating: APIs, Databases, Automation workflows
  • Ensure systems are modular, reusable, and future-proof

2. Azure & Modern Data Platform Ownership

  • Own and optimize infrastructure across Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Drive adoption of Microsoft Fabric for: Data consolidation, Analytics readiness, AI enablement
  • Ensure clean, structured data pipelines for downstream applications

3. Systems Integration & Automation

  • Integrate internal applications into a unified ecosystem
  • Design workflows that connect: Sales, Recruitment, HR, Finance, and Operations
  • Automate business processes and eliminate manual work

4. Migration & Transition Leadership

  • Lead the transition from existing systems (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) to internally built platforms
  • Work with teams to ensure minimal disruption during migration
  • Oversee system adoption and rollout by product/module
  • Lead and mentor a growing team of engineers (currently scaling to 9–10)
  • Manage: Sprint planning, Work allocation, Technical quality
  • Stay hands-on in development, troubleshooting, and architecture

5. Delivery, Planning & Execution

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Provide accurate timelines, effort estimates, and delivery plans
  • Work closely with leadership on product roadmap execution
  • Ensure parallel development across multiple applications

6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to optimize systems and workflows
  • Drive adoption of: AI-powered processes, New tools within Microsoft ecosystem
  • Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

7. Leadership, Team Ownership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the functional lead of the Platform/DevOps team, taking ownership of day-to-day operations, delivery, and team performance
  • Lead, coordinate, and support a team of engineers, ensuring: Clear priorities and task allocation; Accountability and delivery standards; Continuous improvement in technical capability
  • Operate as a player-coach: Provide technical direction and support; Step in hands-on when needed to unblock work or accelerate delivery
  • Help shape team structure, processes, and ways of working as the team grows
  • Work closely with senior leadership (including CEO and department heads) to:
  • Translate business needs into technical execution plans
  • Provide updates, timelines, and delivery status
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for platform/system delivery to leadership Partner with key departments (Recruitment, Sales, HR, Finance, Operations) to:
  • Understand workflows and operational challenges
  • Design and deliver system improvements
  • Confidently navigate strong and fast-paced stakeholders, including:
  • Managing expectations
  • Pushing back when required
  • Recommending better technical or process solutions
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Strong experience with: Microsoft Azure (core requirement); Cloud-based architecture and deployment
  • Exposure to or experience with: Microsoft Fabric (or modern data platforms); Databases (SQL, data modeling concepts); API integrations and automation
  • Comfortable working across both backend systems and integrations
  • Strong understanding of how business systems connect end-to-end
  • Experience building or managing: CRM / ATS / HR systems / internal tools
  • Ability to design systems based on workflow and user needs
  • Experience in SaaS or internal platforms
  • Exposure to modern automation and AI-enabled workflows
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Zoho (nice-to-have, not required)
