About The Role

Yondu is seeking a Mid-Level Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic technology team.

You'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on

Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. You'll collaborate closely with developers, architects, and DevOps professionals to deliver reliable cloud solutions that empower Yondu's digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure for production and development environments.
  • Configure and maintain Azure services including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Azure Active Directory, and App Services.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using ARM, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, supporting automated deployments and integration.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization best practices across Azure

environments.

  • Ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery standards are consistently met.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident response for cloud-related issues.
  • Document configurations, policies, and procedures for infrastructure operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 35 years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure administration.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and storage).
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting for automation.
  • Experience in CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code tools.
  • Familiarity with networking, security, and identity management within Azure.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Certification preferred but not required: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Associate (AZ-305).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in hybrid cloud integrations and migration from on-premises to Azure.
  • Knowledge of Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.
  • Strong collaboration and documentation skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and innovation in cloud technologies.
