The work: As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of cloud solutions for enterprise and custom applications hosted on Microsoft Azure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Azure environments through hands-on administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure Architects to implement secure, scalable, and reliable Azure solutions
Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
Perform day-to-day Azure administration, including resource management, access control, and policy enforcement
Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure-native tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
Configure and support Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and serverless components
Manage and troubleshoot networking components such as NSGs, VPNs, and firewalls
Support integration of on-premise and client cloud environments with Azure for secure data exchange
Assist in incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across Azure platforms
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and system changes
Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud operations and automation initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
At least + year of hands-on experience in Azure Administration or Cloud Engineering
Strong experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking, etc.)
Familiarity with Azure identity and access management (IAM) and security best practices
Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking (NSG, VPN, routing, firewalls)
Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in Azure
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Understanding of cloud architecture, deployment, and support processes
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
