Key Responsibilities
• Governance & Assurance: Lead engagements with solution governance forums (including ARB), ensuring designs meet architectural standards, risk controls, and compliance requirements.
• Estimation & Planning: Provide enterprise-level estimation oversight across infrastructure, licensing, effort, and integration complexity; assure architectural feasibility across multi‑project programs.
• Executive & Stakeholder Engagement: Influence senior business and technology leaders by articulating architectural options, risk considerations, and strategic trade-offs.
• Continuous Improvement & Thought Leadership: Drive uplift of cloud delivery practices, contribute to reusable patterns and accelerators, and maintain awareness of market and cloud technology advancements.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years experience in cloud or solution architecture roles within large-scale or regulated environments.
• Deep expertise across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) covering compute, identity, networking, integration, automation, and security controls.
Azure mandatory
• Strong capability in IaC and cloud automation frameworks (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Demonstrated experience governing end‑to‑end solution designs and mentoring architects and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage senior executives and governance bodies.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional cloud certifications (AWS SA Professional, Azure Architect Expert, GCP PCA).
Azure Architect Expert highly regarded/expected
• TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
• Background in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform architecture.
