AVP - Merchandising

Position Summary

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Merchandising – Home & Cleaning leads merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability through a competitive and relevant product assortment. The role oversees category management, sourcing, pricing, and inventory optimization while developing the merchandising team and ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and business growth targets.

• Oversee category management, assortment planning, sourcing, pricing, and inventory optimization.

• Manage supplier relationships and drive product innovation to maintain a competitive and relevant assortment.

• Analyze business performance, market trends, and customer needs to identify opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

• Lead and develop the merchandising team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of merchandising strategy, category management, sourcing, pricing, and inventory optimization.
