- Lead the intake and evaluation of automation opportunities within the Finance organization
- Assess and prioritize automation initiatives based on business value and strategic alignment
- Translate finance processes into scalable automation solutions using existing platforms
- Partner with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and automation specialists to drive delivery
- Oversee automation implementation timelines and ensure alignment with governance frameworks
- Support the development of business cases for automation projects
- Identify opportunities to transition low-code tools into more strategic solutions
- Contribute to AI-driven initiatives within finance automation
The Successful Applicant
A Successful AVP for Finance Automation
- Years of experience with strong exposure to finance systems and automation initiatives
- Strong background in management accounting or core finance functions
- Proven experience translating business requirements into system or automation solutions
- Background in intelligent automation, process automation, or finance transformation
- Familiarity with low-code and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, IPA platforms) is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of finance data flows, systems, and reporting architectures
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across finance and technology
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels
