Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a banking and financial services company. Our respected client is seeking for an AVP for Credit Trade Support who will be responsible for overseeing trade support functions for credit products, ensuring accurate trade capture, lifecycle management, and risk control. This role combines hands-on operational expertise with team leadership, stakeholder management, and process improvement responsibilities. This role will be reporting to the VP, with office is in BGC, Metro Manila, Philippines with hybrid work arrangement (x3/week onsite).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Validate and control trade bookings across both flow and exotic credit products, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and manage Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) system queues, proactively identifying and resolving breaks or exceptions
- Investigate and resolve trade booking, flow, and lifecycle issues using strong analytical and problem-solving techniques
- Act as a key liaison between the trading desk and stakeholders to escalate and resolve trade-related issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, and Operations teams to resolve trade discrepancies and queries
- Respond promptly to inquiries from clients, Front Office, and internal stakeholders, ensuring high service standards
- Manage and resolve queries related to instrument static data, ensuring data integrity across systems
Contributing Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams globally
- Foster a collaborative environment with internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across regions
- Partner closely with local and regional management to support business objectives and operational priorities
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation, efficiency enhancements, and control strengthening
- Support projects, system enhancements, and change initiatives impacting the credit trade support function
Job Requirements:
- 12-18 years of relevant experience in Credit Trade
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Solid knowledge of and interest in financial markets, including derivative products such as swaps, futures, and options.
- Preferred experience with Credit products, systems, and processes, particularly within trade support functions.
- Strong focus on control and aptitude in both financial and operational areas.
- Proficient with the MS Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to multiple software programs.
- Capable of working under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Comfortable working across various departments, including Sales, Trading, Accounting, Technology, and other Middle Office teams
