Aviation Engineer

General

Supports all the efforts of the Aviation Fuels Specialist (AFS) to help ensure that the level of operations at the airports and the storage depots is kept abreast of international standards and sound local practices.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Inspect actual aviation operations activities at the depots and airports and monitor compliance with the recommendations.

2. Assist depots and into-plane personnel address audit findings from the JIG and airline inspectors.

3. Interpret, standardize and disseminate the latest practices, procedures and improvements thru memos and aviation bulletins.

4. Provide initial guidance and advice on technical concerns and sound practices.

5. Provide logistical support involving mobile refueling equipment, specialized equipment and instruments, spare parts and consumables

6. Draft contract terms for the Technical Services Agreement with a major international JIG member.

7. Assist Sales, in coordination with the AFS, in their endeavors whenever the need arises.

8. Provide training and lectures for Petron personnel, into-plane contractors as well as Petron customers

9. Monitor and update ITP throughputs in all airports where Petron has presence

10. Assist Operations personnel with the various Capex and Program Opex projects

11. Initiate various improvements to improve efficiency, reduce cost and/or increase reliability

12. Monitor the throughputs of new into-plane sites and/or storage facilities and make appropriate recommendations
