About The Role

Air traffic control communications are some of the most precise, high-stakes exchanges in the world — and we need people who can capture them accurately. We're building AI systems designed to improve aviation safety, and we're looking for detail-oriented transcribers to help us get the data right.

If you're an aviation enthusiast, a former pilot, a student, a sim hobbyist, or simply someone with a sharp ear and a passion for aviation, this role was made for you.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately capture aviation-specific terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology
  • Follow structured transcription guidelines to meet quality benchmarks
  • Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Passionate about or familiar with aviation communications and ATC procedures
  • An exceptionally attentive listener with strong focus and patience
  • Comfortable working through noisy, fast-paced, or radio-distorted audio
  • Detail-oriented and capable of following precise annotation guidelines
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
  • No professional aviation credentials or certifications required

Nice to Have

  • Background as a pilot, ATC student, aviation hobbyist, or sim enthusiast
  • Familiarity with ICAO or FAA phraseology standards
  • Prior transcription or audio annotation experience
