Installs, repairs and maintains all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
Checks and assesses the companys electrical systems components on a timely basis (including transformers, transfer switches, switch gears etc.) to ensure that all are functioning seamlessly.
Reports to the Immediate Head for any equipment that could be hazardous or malfunctioning.
Assists with emergencies by operating generators during black out.
Abides with the Department and Companys set of rules, regulations, and policies including but not limited to memorandum, circulars and other oral, written instructions/notices.
Attends meetings as required by Immediate Superior and other departments as well as performs other functions as required by the Department Head.
Technical Vocational Graduate with NCII (Diesel Mechanic)
At least 2 years of experience in the same field
Strong knowledge of diesel engine technology, mechanical systems, and diagnostic tools
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
Physically capable of lifting heavy parts and working in a demanding environment
Ability to explain technical issues to customers and collaborate with other mechanics
