Automation Tester

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in automation testing
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with attention to detail.
• Willing to report 5X onsite in Malate, Manila

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or API testing using Selenium or similar tools.
• Work closely with QA Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and create test cases.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability problems.
• Support the integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
• Log defects clearly and track them to closure using issue tracking tools like JIRA.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and automation strategies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
