Automation Test Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in the Insurance domain to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and a solid understanding of insurance business processes including Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, and Renewals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Automate regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or Karate.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar tools.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and ensure automation suite stability.
• Perform SQL/database validation and backend testing.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Agile teams.
• Track and manage defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Support release validation and production testing activities.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.
