Automation Engr., Sr.

About the role

You will join our Automation function to design, build, and operate enterprise‑scale automations that eliminate manual work, accelerate operational processes, and drive digital transformation across the organization. This role is fully focused on end‑to‑end automation engineering using low‑code/no‑code platforms, and complementary integration or workflow technologies. You will be responsible for architecting advanced automations, orchestrating multi‑system processes, and enabling hyper automation capabilities aligned with business needs.

What will you do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows on platforms such as Tines, Torq, n8n, Power Automate, or similar.
• Hyper automation initiatives by combining workflows, decision automation, integrations, and AI based components.
• Build reusable automation modules and frameworks that scale across business units.
• Integrate diverse systems and applications using REST APIs, webhooks, event‑driven patterns, and messaging services.
• Design robust automations with error handling, retries, monitoring, logging, and execution tracing.
• Define automation SLAs, KPIs, and performance baselines.
• Ensure secure handling of credentials, tokens, secrets, and integrations.
• Apply automation engineering best practices: version control, peer reviews, CI/CD, testing frameworks.
• Maintain documentation, workflow diagrams, and architectural blueprints.

What do you need to succeed

Must-haves

• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in automation or hyper automation engineering.
• Strong expertise with low code/no code platforms (e.g., Tines, Torq, n8n, Power Automate, Make, or similar).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Powershell) to extend automation capabilities when needed.
• Experience with version control (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD writing clean, tested, maintainable code.
• Clear and effective communication with technical teams and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience designing automation architectures on a scale.
• Exposure to AI driven automation (LLM based Experience with workflow orchestration engines (Camunda, Temporal, Airflow).
• Familiarity with RPA tools (UIPath, Power Automate enrichment, classification, decision engines).
• Knowledge of ITSM integrations (ServiceNow, Jira) and enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Experience working in environments with strong governance, compliance, and process frameworks.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Minimum 3 years working on Automation.
• Relevant certifications in automation platforms or integration technologies (optional but valued).
