Automation Engineer (West)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support automation, fabrication, and production-related activities within manufacturing operations
• Perform hands-on machine assembly, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance works
• Support fabrication activities including machine modification, mechanical fitting, and production equipment setup
• Troubleshoot automation, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth machine operation and production continuity
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to optimize equipment reliability and performance
• Assist in process improvement and automation enhancement projects to increase productivity and reduce operational issues
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and electrical schematics for machine setup and troubleshooting
• Support testing, calibration, and validation of automation systems and production equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational standards, and production requirements

Educational Background

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Strong hands-on technical knowledge in automation systems, fabrication, machine assembly, and production processes
• Additional certifications or training in PLC, automation systems, industrial maintenance, or fabrication are an added advantage
