Job Description

The Quality Engineer is a hands-on quality and test specialist embedded within an offshore squad, responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining the tests and quality gates that enable safe and confident software releases. This role champions a shift-left approach, embedding quality early in the requirements and design phases. The Quality Engineer builds and maintains automated test suites across UI, API, and integration layers, and ensures these are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline to protect release confidence. They use quality metrics and defect data to inform delivery decisions and assess release risk. Furthermore, they coach other engineers on quality practices and contribute to reusable test frameworks, fostering a culture of quality across the squad. They work closely with developers, the Lead Engineer, and Product stakeholders to deliver reliable member outcomes.
