What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions including scripts, workflows, integrations, RPA, and APIs while building scalable pipelines using tools like Python, PowerShell, n8n, Make.com, UiPath, or Zapier.
- Integrate systems, applications, and data sources to eliminate manual tasks and maintain automation documentation, technical diagrams, and SOPs.
- Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and ensure security, compliance, and data integrity across solutions.
- Lead automation projects end-to-end with Agile/Scrum practices including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and cross-team coordination.
- Collaborate with business units to identify automation opportunities, translate needs into technical specs and user stories, train end users, and promote a culture of innovation and efficiency.
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 25+ years in automation engineering, scripting, or workflow development.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell, coupled with hands-on experience with automation platforms and tools (RPA, integration tools, CI/CD).
- Practical working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and experience managing projects in Agile environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation abilities.
- Preferred: Agile or Scrum certification, cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps tools familiarity (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD), background in ITSM/ticketing systems, and knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
