Automation Engineer

Job Role:

PLC Change Requests & Internal Service Delivery:

• Coordinate PLC modification schedules with requestors, develop and prepare PLC logic before implementation and conduct cold and hot testing after PLC updates.

Plant Availability & Reliability:

• Support achievement of availability targets across: Kilns, Cement Mills and Packhouses. Ensure spare PLC parts are available, Maintain up-to-date PLC logic backups.

Equipment Efficiency & Calibration:

• Perform scheduled calibrations, Maintain calibration accuracy within ±3% tolerance, Ensure availability of calibration-related spare parts, Coordinate calibration plans and issue resolution.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• A graduate of Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Has familiarity with PLC
• With at least 2 years working experience.
