Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with QA and automation engineers across Deltek's global sites, including the Philippines, India, and other locations, to deliver high-quality automated test scripts and execution results in a timely manner
- Analyze, design, and execute manual and automated testing activities for complex modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve automated test failures encountered during test execution
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts that support data-driven testing approaches
- Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, with strong communication skills required
- Implement and continuously improve documented standards, guidelines, and best practices for test automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on testing processes, testing roles, and test automation
- Proven experience writing test scripts and automating test procedures for web and client/server applications
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of test automation and open-source tools such as Selenium or Playwright
- Familiarity with C# or another object-oriented language, object locator strategies (e.g., XPath, CSS selectors), or Azure DevOps and other configuration management systems and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Experience with AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) to accelerate test case generation, script authoring, and defect analysis is a plus
- Leadership and organizational skills are a strong advantage, particularly for those who may be called upon to lead or coordinate a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Self-motivated and driven, with the flexibility to work extended hours when project needs arise
