Job Title: RPA Developer
RPA Developer:
Role Overview
As an RPA Developer, you will be part of a highly collaborative development team working on robotic process automations. This is an integral role in the development of automations, ensuring the organization's needs are accurately reflected in user stories produced by the business analysis team. In this role, you will be responsible for building accurate, resilient, and highly performant automations.
Additionally, you will assist in creating test cases to ensure that the deliverable meets the business requirements and needs. This role works with the company's proprietary and/or industry-leading systems and applications, ensuring they are designed and built in accordance with agreed-upon technical specifications and quality standards.
Key Accountabilities / Duties:
Translating business/functional requirements into working automations
Identify efficiency opportunities within the development process
Identify opportunities for product enhancements and training
Facilitate discussions around solution risks, effort, complexity, and maintenance for automations with the development team to prepare for prioritization and planning of releases, including MVP creation.
Participate and coordinate testing/QA and troubleshooting/fix for automations
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and focus on building strong collaborative relationships with the team and business users
Support the team with triaging bugs reported by the business users
Attends backlog refinement calls, sprint planning, release planning, sprint reviews or demos, and actively participates in other Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Self-organizes and applies cross-functional competencies to create high-value solutions.
Key skills and competencies:
Strong programming background preferred (2+ years development in Microsoft technologies: .NET, SQL, PowerShell, etc.).
Solid experience developing automations with UiPath RPA, Power Automate, or related tools.
Strong understanding of contemporary system architecture (RESTful APIs, storage layers, UI technologies).
Experience or familiarity with AI tools or development frameworks is a strong plus, especially in applying AI to automation, analytics, or decision support.
Comfort with low-code/no-code platforms and a strong ability to design automation solutions that users can easily adopt.
Willingness to solve problems by being inquisitive and curious. Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to multitask and work on global teams
Adeptness at learning new technology, tools, and processes
Manages time effectively by placing the proper focus on value-added operations
Excellent communication skills, ability to discuss complex scenarios, research/elicitation with a wide variety of stakeholders
High-level understanding of software system topology
