Charity Accounting Partners (CAP) provides outsourced finance to UK charities, and we run on automation. n8n workflows orchestrate our client onboarding, monthly reporting, records chasing and deadline monitoring. Our internal CRM is built on Lovable and Supabase. We integrate with Xero and QuickBooks Online across dozens of client organisations, and we use the Claude API to help draft financial reports our clients boards actually read.
We're looking for the person who keeps all of that healthy: monitoring, fixing, documenting, improving. Our CEO builds the systems. You make sure they run flawlessly, every day, for every client.
What you'll do
- Monitor our n8n automation estate daily and resolve errors before anyone else notices them - our standard is zero silent failures
- Manage Xero and QuickBooks OAuth connections across many client companies (if you know why refresh tokens are dangerous, we already like you)
- Wire newly onboarded clients into every system within 3 working days, against runbooks you own
- Take build tickets: new workflows, Supabase changes, tool fixes, prompt adjustments. Tested properly before anything touches a client
- Run our security basics: monthly access reviews, credential hygiene, backup restore tests
- Produce a monthly Systems Health report the CEO steers the business from
What we're looking for
- 2+ years hands-on with n8n or serious workflow automation (Make/Zapier experience welcome; n8n preferred)
- Confident with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and debugging from HTTP logs
- Working SQL; Supabase or PostgreSQL experience
- Strong written English - documentation is a first-class deliverable here
- The temperament that checks the log nobody asked you to check
Bonus points: Xero/QBO API experience, Lovable or React, LLM APIs, accounting industry exposure.
