Job Description:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on robots and automation equipment (e.g. conveyors, packing machines, automated storage and retrieval system and robotic system)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on robots and automation equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, printers, scanners, and control panels.
- Conduct regular audit inventory of spare parts to ensure availability
- Ensure compliance of all automation systems with the safety standards
- Provide technical support to warehouse operations during daily activities
- Oversee materials handling equipment such as Reach trucks, Counterbalance, and Powered pallet truck
- Document maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Preferably with PRC license or National Certificate II, III or IV in Electrical or Mechatronics
- Working-at-height certification
- 2 to 4 years of experience in automation engineering projects, equipment maintenance, conveyors, and material handling equipment. Experience with industrial automation is preferred.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, VFD, robotics, and motor control
- Familiarity with conveyors, sortation systems, AS/RS and robotic
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Skilled in troubleshooting
- Knowledge of safety regulations, preventive maintenance, and asset management
- Excellent problem solving, and communication skills
- Mobile and able to support multiple warehouse sites or locations in Meycauayan
