Key Responsibilities
O&M Management: Monitor the performance of all AFCS hardware and software, including Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs), Automatic Gates (AGs), Passenger Service Terminals (PSTs), and handheld validators.
Preventive/Corrective Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and handle emergency repairs of AFCS components at the revenue line.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Perform component-level troubleshooting, repair, and testing of fare collection equipment.
Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs such as system availability, transaction speed, and maintenance response times, providing reports on system health.
System Integrity & Security: Ensure data integrity in transactions, compliance with security standards for payment systems, and smooth interface with bank systems.
Support & Documentation: Prepare technical manuals, maintenance reports, operating procedures (SOPs), and training documentation for staff.
Vendor Management: Supervise and coordinate with AFC subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and service requirements.
Training & Capacity Building: Conduct training for operational staff on the use and maintenance of the AFCS.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer, Electrical, Telecommunications, or similar).
Experience:Minimum 5-10 years of experience in railway systems, specifically with AFCS, signaling, or telecommunications.Proven experience in operations and maintenance (O&M) of ticket vending machines, fare gates, and backend servers.
Technical Skills:Knowledge of ticketing technology (smart cards, NFC, QR code).Experience with IT infrastructure, networking, and software systems used in revenue collection.Ability to interpret technical drawings and software documentation.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership, vendor management, and capability to work in high-pressure environments
