You own the accuracy and coordination of MEP drafting outputs that support commercial building projects for a U.S.-based engineering client. Your work ensures that drawings, models, and document packages are technically precise, properly layered, and aligned with interdisciplinary design standards.

This is a structured, production-focused role. You will interpret engineering specifications, modify BIM and architectural files for MEP use, and operate within defined workflows, revision cycles, and submission deadlines.

You will thrive in this role if you value technical precision, can work independently during night hours, and prefer clearly defined deliverables over ambiguity.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• At least 2 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience in a commercial environment
• Experience producing 2D and 3D MEP drawings, including sections, elevations, and coordinated plans
• Working knowledge of Revit (model setup, navigation, and import/export between Revit and AutoCAD) not required but an advantage
• Experience modifying architectural or BIM files for MEP design use
• Exposure to U.S.-based engineering standards, commercial buildings, or interdisciplinary coordination workflows
• Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift schedule (11:00 PM8:00 AM, PH time) in a fully remote setup
• Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Engineering, or a related field (Associate or Bachelor's)

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

MEP Drafting & Model Development

You are accountable for producing technically accurate drawing packages that meet engineering specifications and client submission standards.

• Create and modify 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings, elevations, sections, and details
• Import/export BIM models and convert architectural files for MEP application
• Maintain drawing accuracy, scale integrity, and version control

Interdisciplinary Coordination

You ensure that MEP designs are coordinated and conflict-free across disciplines.

• Review drawings with MEP/FP/IT design teams
• Identify clashes and inconsistencies across design packages
• Maintain alignment with project schedules and submission deadlines

Documentation & Standards Control

You protect drawing integrity and compliance through disciplined documentation practices.

• Organize and maintain project documentation and revisions
• Apply company CAD standards and execution protocols
• Prepare document packages for client submissions

Technical Collaboration

You contribute to structured communication workflows with engineering stakeholders.

• Participate in coordination meetings and conference calls as required
• Provide technical drafting input during design reviews
• Assist with preparation of jurisdictional comment response letters
