Universal Robina Corporation is looking for anAutoCAD Operator - Electrical.

- Location: NSL Malvar or URC Head Office (Bridgetowne, Quezon City)
- Project Duration: March 2026 to March 2027 | (Contract is coterminus with the NSL Malvar Bakery construction project, with possible extension based on project needs and performance)
We are seeking a newly licensed Electrical Engineer to work as an AutoCAD Operator for a construction project. This project-based role is intended for fresh board passers who want hands-on experience in electrical construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
The AutoCAD Operator will support the site and engineering teams by preparing and updating electrical drawings in accordance with approved construction plans, actual site conditions, and project specifications, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the construction phase.
What are the Job Responsibilities:
Electrical Drafting & Documentation
- Prepare, update, and revise electrical construction drawings using AutoCAD, including:
- Power and lighting layouts
- Single-line diagrams
- Panel board schedules
- Conduit, wiring, and grounding layouts
- Develop and update:
- Shop drawings submitted for approval
- As-built drawings reflecting actual site installations
- Incorporate revisions based on:
- Site instructions
- Engineer's directives
- Consultant and client comments
Construction & Site Coordination
- Coordinate closely with:
- Electrical Engineers
- Project Engineers
- Site supervisors and foremen
- Assist in resolving drawing discrepancies between:
- Architectural
- Structural
- Mechanical disciplines
- Conduct site visits, when required, to verify installation conditions and updates
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure drawings comply with:
- Approved construction drawings
- Project specifications
- Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and applicable standards
- Follow company and project drafting standards, naming conventions, and document control procedures
Administrative & Project Support
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approvals
- Assist in basic quantity referencing and material take-offs from drawings
- Perform other drafting and engineering support tasks as assigned by the project team
What are the Qualifications:
FOR ELECTRICAL (Malvar)
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC) fresh board passers are welcome
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) for electrical drafting
- Basic understanding of:
- Electrical systems for buildings or industrial facilities
- Construction drawings, symbols, and schedules
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
FOR PROCESS DESIGN (Bridgetowne, QC)
- 3 years of experience in Drafting for Plant Design Applications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Proficiency in: Equipment Drafting and Design, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram Preparations & Construction drawings, symbols, and schedules
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel

- Ability to work under construction timelines and pressure
- Willingness to learn on-site practices and standards
- Good communication with engineers and site personnel
