AutoCAD Operator – MEPF Designs
This position is based in BGC, Taguig.
Job Summary
The AutoCAD Operator is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining detailed technical drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) and Auxiliary systems. The role works closely with engineers, project managers, and site personnel to ensure that drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare MEPF and Auxiliary drawings using AutoCAD based on design requirements and engineering specifications.
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Revise drawings based on comments from engineers, clients, and site teams.
- Coordinate MEPF layouts with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Maintain drawing records and ensure proper document control.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Support project teams by providing accurate and timely drafting services.
Qualifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans.
- Familiarity with MEPF systems and construction drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant experience is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in office fit-out, commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
