- Previous experience preparing Australian tax returns.
- Strong understanding of Australian year-end accounting processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Xero.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
- Ability to manage your workload independently and meet deadlines.

- Experience using Xero Practice Manager (XPM).
- Experience preparing tax returns for companies, trusts, and SMSFs.
What you will do
- Preparing year-end work papers and adjusting journals.
- Preparing financial statements for small business clients.
- Completing Australian tax returns for companies, trusts, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).
- Reviewing client accounting records and making necessary adjustments in Xero.
- Extracting reports and analyzing financial data using advanced Excel.
- Managing assigned jobs independently while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Collaborating directly with the Principal Accountant, who will review completed work and provide coaching where needed.
