Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly and quarterly compliance requirements, including BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and superannuation.
  • Maintain accurate source documentation and support month-end closing activities.
  • Utilize Xero and other accounting tools (e.g. Hubdoc) for efficient financial reporting.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of Australian bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
