Job Title: Augmentation Consultant - Legal
Location: Singapore

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel / Commercial Technology Lawyer to provide practical, commercially focused legal support across a broad range of technology, procurement, licensing and services matters.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, partnering closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide clear legal guidance, manage contractual risk and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial, technology, procurement, licensing and services agreements.
• Provide practical, risk-based legal advice on commercial law, contract law, cybersecurity, data protection, intellectual property and corporate governance.
• Support end-to-end contract lifecycle management, including contract reviews, template development, governance checks and approval workflows.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, regulatory obligations and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with Legal, Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Data Protection and other business functions.
• Support contract negotiations and help stakeholders achieve commercially balanced outcomes.
• Identify contractual and regulatory risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Review and improve standard legal templates, contracting processes and governance frameworks.
• Support business initiatives involving digital solutions, IT services, software, technology platforms and external vendors.
• Keep abreast of relevant legal, regulatory and technology developments.

Requirements

• Degree in Law.
• Admission to the Singapore Bar.
• Minimum 4 years PQE gained either:as an in-house lawyer within an MNC, orwith a reputable commercial law firm.
• Strong experience in commercial contracting and negotiation.
• Good understanding of legal and regulatory matters relating to:Technology / ITProcurementSoftware licensingData protectionCybersecurityIntellectual propertyCorporate governance
• Strong ability to provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice.
• Excellent stakeholder-management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving and complex environment.

Good to Have

• Experience supporting technology or digital businesses.
• Familiarity with IT architectures, cloud, SaaS or enterprise technology environments.
• A second degree or formal background in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience working with procurement, cybersecurity, data protection and compliance teams.
• Exposure to contract management systems or contract lifecycle management processes.
