Role Overview:
- To implement the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) of the Internal Audit Group, with regards the conduct of periodic self-assessments, and coordinating the requirements for external quality assessments, including monitoring of progress of completion of action plans to address any identified deficiencies and opportunities for improvement; and,
- Work closely with audit departments and other stakeholders, acting as liaison and analyst, relative to requirements for Continuous Audit and Computer-assisted Audit Techniques reports.
Job Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Improvement Program (QAIP):
- Conduct annual Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) reviews and prepare reports for leadership and the Audit Committee.
- Coordinate External Quality Assessments (EQA), including vendor engagement, documentation, and monitoring of corrective action plans.
Audit Technology & Continuous Audit:
- Collaborate with audit, IT, and business units to develop and implement Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) and Continuous Audit reports.
- Act as liaison and analyst, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead system testing, validation, and provide training/support to end-users.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of IT-related degree, Accounting or business course; preferably CPA, CIA, CISA, or with other relevant professional certifications.
- With at least 5 years supervisory/ managerial experience in Data Analytics, Financial Auditing, or Information Systems Auditing, preferably gained from a bank, other financial institution or auditing firm.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; computer literate, critical thinking/ analytical, problem identification and problem solving, effective negotiation skills; and knowledge and application of the IIA's IPPF/ GIAS.
- Proficient in data analysis and experienced working with data analytics tools; familiar with continuous auditing concepts and methodologies.
- Willing to work on site and be assigned either in Makati or Ortigas.
