Carry out the review of audit files to a portfolio of broad based clients in various industries
Carry out audit planning, day to day management of teams on fieldwork, including review of audit work, liaison with key client staff and the management of the reporting process.
Ensuring completion of audits/projects within agreed timelines.
Capable of managing large assignments.
Provide training to audit staff.
Responsible for the supervision of staff and management of services to clients.
Manage client relationship, planning and deliver a range of external audit services.
Co-ordinating with other divisions within Robert Yam & Co PAC
Involved with regulatory and accounting issues that arise during the audit engagement, and proposing solutions for these engagements
Able to meet total audit fee target and audit jobs allocated each year
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy/CA Singapore/CPA or equivalent recognised professional qualification.
A minimum of five years of audit experience preferably from a medium sized or large international CA firm and a minimum of two years managerial experience in an audit firm is required.
Knowledge of auditing techniques including risk assessment, audit scoping, devising audit controls testing, substantive audit testing including sampling techniques.
Good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, auditing standards and accounting principles.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively and efficiently across all levels.
