Audit Manager

Job summary:

The role of an audit manager is to perform high level review of audit procedures performed, ensuring adherence to PwC global assurance standards and applicable auditing and regulatory frameworks. Key expectation for this role is to ensure the audit plan is carried out within the agreed timeline and audit issues are timely raised and resolved with the engagement leader.

Qualification and competencies:

1. Candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

2. Has 7 years experience in external audit

3. Exposure to audit of Asset Management, Banking and Insurance Companies, Gaming and Holding companies is a plus

4. Currently on work from home arrangement

5. Willing to work on a mid shift or night shift schedule as needed

6. Effective written and verbal communication skills

7. Team player, flexible and able to work under pressure

8. Able to work and coordinate with a virtual team

9. Working knowledge in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications and other Data Analytics tool

Primary responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Ensure timely delivery of high quality output aligned with PwC global assurance standards and

engagement team's expectations

2. Keep up-to-date with technical accounting developments using the firm's knowledge and

research tools

3. Evaluate and review staff performance and discusses points for improvement

4. Assist engagement leader in planning, execution and completion activities

5. Lead interviews and discussions with clients and other third party contacts

6. Discuss exceptions and audit adjustments with engagement leader and help reach a conclusion

7. Monitor overall progress and performance of the engagement team and identify possible delays in the

completion of the engagement

8. Contribute to a positive working environment by knowledge sharing and working effectively with team

members

9. Act as an ambassador of the firm's processes and policies
