Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of audit engagements, from planning through completion and reporting.
  • Ensure audits comply with International Standards on Auditing, applicable financial reporting standards and the firm's quality management policies.
  • Review audit working papers and financial statements, resolve technical issues and communicate significant findings to the engagement partner.
  • Supervise, coach and develop audit staff, providing timely feedback on performance.
  • Coordinate with clients, component auditors and other stakeholders to meet engagement deadlines.
  • Manage engagement budgets, staffing and work allocation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve audit quality and efficiency.
  • Support client proposals and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or a recognised professional qualification, such as CPA or equivalent.
  • At least five years of external audit experience, including experience supervising teams and managing engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Strong analytical, communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver quality work within deadlines.
  • Experience with group audits and consolidation is an advantage.
  • Prior experience with a Big Four firm is a plus.
