Job Summary:
An Audit Associate participates and contributes to conducting audit activities in accordance with auditing standards, policies, and approved audit program for the engagement. Prepares audit working papers and drafts audit report with audit notes, findings and supporting documents relative to the audit engagement.
Job Description:
- Participates in planning and conducting risk-based financial statements audit in accordance with Philippine Standards on Auditing (PSA) and firm's audit methodology.
- Spearheads audit engagement related to social, cultural, and environmental projects.
- Actively involved in timely submission of reports to the group auditors related to the FS audit of multinational companies.
- Prepares detailed reports and memorandums on audit findings.
- Performs analytical review data provided by client.
- Assists senior-in-charge of audit engagements in planning for and performing the audit.
- Coordinates with senior-in-charge on client and audit team matters.
- Documents results of procedures performed.
- Assists in preparing drafts of required reports for review by the senior-in-charge of the engagement.
- Performs other related tasks assigned by the senior-in-charge in the completion of the audit assignment.
Qualification Requirements:
- BS Accountancy, CPA, or non-CPA
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as an Audit Associate obtained from a big or known auditing firm.
- Audit and compliance experience in various industries, prior audit experience in insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.
- Experienced in local statutory audit. Knowledge in international group reporting requirements is an advantage.
- Highly analytical, excellent interpersonal communication (both oral and written).
- Experienced in planning, budgeting, risk, or controls assessment and managing each audit engagement.
- Must be willing to travel and work both locally and abroad, if necessary.
- Must possess an excellent interpersonal skill and strong attention to details.
- Applicants must be willing to report to work in Makati City.
- Proficient in MS Office, other IT and software skills is an advantage.
